Jana Anders, Founder and President
Jana formed Emergent Leadership because she wanted to run a company that was different. While many of the training companies she worked with were creating content and then approaching customers with their content, Jana wanted to build content for customer's needs.
Jana has been named one of Training Magazine's Top Trainers and is certified by ICF as a PCC Executive Coach. Her specialty is in facilitating leadership teams and coaching and she has worked with leaders around the world. Jana has worked with clients in various industries including HP, Oracle, Disney, the U.S. Navy, Peet’s Coffee, Coursera, Genentech, The Hartford and Lyft. She has also worked internationally with the United Nations Industrial Development Program and locally with nonprofits that align with her mission including AbleWorks and the Community Housing Partnership.
Charlene Kurpakus, Producer and Facilitator
Charlene’s expertise is primarily in virtual training including producing, facilitating and designing highly interactive leadership training experiences. She has partnered with over 100 companies in a wide range of industries including high-tech, oil and gas, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, retail, entertainment, pharmaceutical and insurance, among others. Charlene’s 25+ years of business experience also includes recruitment, leadership and sales assessment and leadership coaching.
Janell Payne, Communication and Leadership Specialist
Janell's expertise is in Speech and Communication Skills Training and Coaching. Her background in Facilitation and Mediation inform her expertise in teaching communication and leadership courses. Janell has over thirteen years of experience teaching and training.
